Invitation - Tapping Ready Talent

    The SHRM Vermont State Council would like to invite you to join us in learning how to build a Military Hiring Program for your workplace by attending the Tapping Ready Talent: Creating Military* Hiring Opportunities on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Regional Readiness & Training Center on 161 University Drive at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont.

    Vermont's Veterans hold deep roots in our nation’s history, lending a helping hand in war efforts going all the way back to our Country’s fight for independence. In addition, our Vermont citizen-soldiers and their families share a unique role within our communities when it comes to their monthly drill weekends, annual training, military schools, state disaster recovery, and deployments.

    The SHRM Vermont State Council has partnered with the SHRM Foundation, USAA Foundation, and PsychArmor Institute to bring you an opportunity to gain certification and training in creating a Military Hiring Program. We are offering a FREE hands-on learning opportunity for participants to apply best practices in creating a Military Hiring Program in their own workplace. This 6 credit-hour program is pending SHRM and HRCI approval.

    All Human Resources Professionals and Business Leaders are encouraged to attend!
