Happy New Year!   The leadership team has laid out their vision for 2020 and beyond. How can you mobilize the entire team to work toward the same goals?  What can you do to connect their day-to-day world today to this view of the future?   Everyone is asking the same question - what does this mean to me?

Cascading Goal Setting is a process you can use in your organization to create that alignment!

Cascading Goal Setting is the process of translating the goals of the organization’s leadership level to aligned goals and activities for each department and each member of the team.  As goals flow (or cascade like a waterfall) from the highest to lowest levels of an organization, everyone is marching to the same top-level objective, from their particular position.

In this workshop we will cover:

    1. How to improve goal setting - How to set SMART Goals. Why SMART Goals are important.
    2. How to cascade strategic objectives down to the departmental and individual level. How this ensures alignment across the organization for positions in all departments.
    3. How team members can become connected to strategy - With cascading SMART goals in place, everyone has an understanding of how they will be contributing to business strategy.
    4. Why it is easier to prioritize activities. If goals are aligned, then prioritization becomes easier since everyone has a better understanding of the most important activities to complete.
    5. How to track the achievement of the plan. How to use SMART goal metrics to review results and revise the plan.
