Welcome to SHRM Vermont State Council

Welcome to the website for the Vermont State Council of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

This website provides links to valuable human resources information, including local chapter websites, local HR events and current HR news.  Your are encouraged to visit us regularly.

The Council encourages all SHRM members to join a local chapter as it will enhance your networking connections, expand your professional development opportunities, and in many situations provide opportunities for recertification credits for your SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.

The largest human resources event held in New England is scheduled for September 8 - 9, 2016 at the Hilton Conference Center in Burlington, Vermont.  This year’s theme, “The Real Deal: Risks, Rewards and Winning Strategies”, embraces the high stakes decisions that HR professionals make on a daily basis, and the potential impact of these decisions on the companies where they work.

If you are interested in presenting at this one and one-half day opportunity with human resources professionals, please complete the Request for Speaker Proposal and return it no later than May 6, 2016. Up to three presentations will be accepted for consideration by the Conference Committee (add additional pages if needed). No more than two sessions will be selected.
